Vincent Salvano is a writer, director of photography, voice over actor, and comedian originally from Moorestown, New Jersey. He first began writing poetry and prose early in his high school career, which was published in an assortment of magazines across the country and world, including Apiary Magazine, The Rusty Nail, and Onetitle Magazine among others. He began focusing more on writing screenplays after producing a documentary film commemorating his Moorestown Friends School's 225th anniversary. Vincent has made films for his high school musicals and plays, including The Music Man, Gypsy, and Twilight Los Angeles: 1992. His film "Photograph" was featured at Interlochen's 2012 Future of Cinema Film Festival, as well as "Dal Segno" which won two awards at the Tisch 48-Hour Film Festival in 2013.
Vincent has been an intern and volunteer at the "2013 All-American High School Film Festival", hosted by director Andrew Jenks, as well as at the "2014 Tribeca Film Festival" in New York.
He has production assisted and collaborated on a number of student films and industry productions, including the NYU Advanced Narrative, "Something About Wonder" and "Funny or Die's Billy on the Street".
Vincent hopes to become a television writer and producer, and has worked as a videographer at venues including The Comedy Cellar and The Stand in Manhattan.
He currently resides in New York City, where he studies Film and Television at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Writing and directing his own comedy web-series "Manhattan University", as well as working on industry projects has allowed him to share his ideas and passions in creative environments, while becoming stronger at what he loves, and that's storytelling.
